I'm staying with my parents right now and enjoying the countryside, playing with our dog, drawing, painting and watching movies and just gererally having a good old time.
My mum's got eight young geese and it's obvious how she enjoys keeping them. She talks to them and takes them for walks while Bingo, our border collie, practices his shepherding and staring skills on them. Hilarious, I tells ya!

I've got a new flat in Århus and it's big, close to a mall and a fantastic bazar, close to some of my friends' and not too expensive. I can't wait to start painting and decorating and moving in. I'm already mentally placing my furniture.

The sad news is that Mango, our old dog, died. She was almost 15, rheumy and turning deaf, and one day she was just so bad they had to call the vet to put her to sleep. This happened just before I got home, and although I should have liked to be there to say goodbye, I'm also sort of relieved that I didn't have to see her suffer like that. I was there when the same thing happened to Mango's father, Ming, who was also very old, and it was absolutely horrible to watch him struggling and suffering. So I'm glad they didn't prolong her misery by waiting for me to come home. And she had a good, long life with us.
